Once you come back from another quest you need to bring Poogie to a different spot and have him dig up a different item in order to re-spawn the voucher again. Riding special kites, they take to the skies and set off to specified zones to gather. Kogarashi is in charge of the Meowcenaries, a monster recon squad of Buddies. Carry Poogie over here, and once you feel the controller vibrate next to the Handler, put the pig on the ground and he will dig you up a meal voucher! Felyne Chief Kogarashi can be found towards the back of the Buddy Plaza within Kamura Village, standing atop a small shrine next to the take-off point for his Meowcenaries. Once your friendship is high enough, you can carry him around and you will feel your controller vibrate around certain spots (you can get various ores, items and even Poogie costumes) and the one we are interested in happens to be by The Handler sitting next to the canteen. Once you do this a few times, Poogie will even come greet you every time you come back from a quest. To raise your friendship with Poogie you will need to pet him after every quest and press the pet button once the exclamation mark appears over his head to successfully raise his affection.
There is a failsafe way to get a voucher every other quest, and for this you will need to become pals with Poogie, the cute pig that hangs around the tradeyard. Vouchers will make every ingredient fresh, which guarantees the skills will activate.
These skills will only activate if the ingredients are fresh of course, which is very rare and unreliable, so this is where the meal vouchers come in (these are different than the daily vouchers you get from logging in, even though some guides say they are the same.). Felyne Carver (Hi) allows you to carve a monster, and its tail, more times than usual, and Felyne Lucky Cat gives you more rewards at the end of a quest. Once you have them, make custom meals in the favorite section of the canteen to always have these at hand.įor Felyne Carver (hi) you will need all 6 green drinks, and for Felyne Lucky Cat all 6 golden drinks.
